A file will not open or looks wrong

Check that it is fully downloaded, its path is accessible, and the format is supported. Compare with a small file of the same type. If only one file fails, record its size and origin. Large files can take time; avoid opening them repeatedly while loading.

Changes were not saved

Confirm that you used an editor and actually saved. If the destination is not writable, try Save As to a local folder. An exported file and its source can have different paths; check which one you opened.

AI does not respond

Check the selected provider and model, network access, and API key. If the built-in service reports a credit limit, check the dashboard balance and usage. Try a short text-only question to distinguish connection issues from file-context issues.

Still stuck

Record the steps, expected result, actual result, and exact error. Prepare a small sample without sensitive information and follow Report a problem. Avoid repeatedly overwriting the original file while investigating.
