Read PDF files

Open a document

Open a local PDF and wait for its pages to load. Large files can take longer; make sure the download is complete. This guide covers reading and printing, not editing the PDF’s body text.

Navigate pages

Use page navigation in the toolbar to jump through the document. Adjust zoom or fit to width as needed. Check the page count before jumping to a page in a long document.

If a page is blank, try adjacent pages and check whether the file is damaged. Comparing with a small PDF helps distinguish a file-specific problem from a general loading issue.

Print

Activate the PDF tab and open Print. Review the page range, orientation, and scale. Check the first and last pages of the output.
