Switch between visual editing, source, and preview, then save or share.

Choose an editing mode
Open a .md file and switch between WYSIWYG and source mode. Source mode provides code-only, split, and preview-only views. If the document uses syntax not supported by the visual editor, it switches to source mode.
Write content
Use the toolbar for headings, lists, tables, and links. Try this in source mode, then check the preview:

Images can use relative paths or URLs. Save the document before pasting images so they have a destination. Include referenced local images when sharing the document.
Save and share
Saving keeps your Markdown source. Export HTML, DOCX, or PDF to share the result, then check tables, images, and diagrams in the exported file. Complex diagrams need particular attention to pagination.
