Diagrams and mind maps

Choose the right editor

Select Mermaid, PlantUML, Graphviz, or Mindmap for your content. Their syntaxes are not interchangeable. Start with a small valid example before adding complex nodes. Check the tool menu and format directory for supported mind-map formats.

Edit and inspect

After changing source or nodes, inspect the preview. Check syntax errors first if the diagram does not update. Zoom or adjust the layout for large graphs. Verify titles, hierarchy, and notes separately after converting mind maps.

Share and reuse

Save the source for later editing. Use available export options to produce images or documents, then inspect text, connectors, and pagination. A rendered image is not a substitute for editable diagram source.

Use workspace Split View to compare the source with reference material.
