Convert files

Create a small workflow

Open File Processing and choose a workflow suitable for your file type, or create one. A minimal conversion usually has input, conversion, and save-output stages. Supported format combinations are shown by the selected node.

Configure and run

1. Choose an input file.
2. Set the destination format and required options in the conversion node.
3. Choose a writable folder in the save-output node. For a first attempt, keep it separate from the original folder.
4. Run the workflow, wait for completion, and open the generated file from the results.

Inspect the result

Check the properties that matter: page count, image dimensions, table contents, or media duration. A successful conversion does not guarantee preservation of every feature of the source format.

If the workflow includes local AI nodes, first use may require explicitly installing a runtime and downloading models. Follow the relevant prompts; ordinary conversion and local AI have different prerequisites.
